Gayism could be genetic….Dr Arhin

Deputy Director, International Relations, of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Mark Arhin says, the country’s culture and tradition does not promote gaysm.

Citing a 16 year old student who had been infected with AIDS through gayism. The situation he said, has been perpetuated by the social media which is culturally diverse.

These social media platforms he says, has great influence on children and many at time, practice what they read.

He disclosed that, some are gays through birth through their genetic composition whiles others through financial challenges, are initiated into it. Speaking on Rainbow Radio’s FRONTLINE, Dr Arhin noted a holistic approach to the issue and not condemned out rightly. Some of these issues are human rights with organisation pursuing that agenda.

A Member of Communications team of the New Patriotic Party, Adomako Baafi expressed surprise at that assertion.

Adding that, the society has a culture which should be promoted and anything that is contrary to the generally accepted order, should not be entertained. Modernism should not undermine the culture of the society, he added.
