Internet Fraud Syndicate Busted

The Security agencies have busted a false visa syndicate operating in Tema Community 18 and other locations. The syndicate operating under the name Incane organisation take $2,500 from their clients under the pretext of securing jobs for them in Canada.

Transactions are mostly performed through the Internet. A release from the Police Headquarters, signed by David Eklu, Director of Public Relations, said 43 passports embossed with fake visas, have been seized.

The release expressed the belief that many people who have fallen victim are still making efforts to contact one Felix Nartey and one Adamu or Adams, who the Police say are behind the fraud.

The police alerted the public to stop any further transactions with the said organisation and asked people who have fallen victim to the dubious operations to contact the Police Public Relations Directorate at the Police Headquarters.
