The Tema Community five Assembly of the Apostolic Church – Ghana, has organised a cleanup exercise and painting of the Tema Community Five Number 3 Basic School.

The exercise forms part of the 15th Anniversary Celebrations of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, Community 5 English Service.

Members of the church carried out the activities in collaboration with Zoomlion Limited, a sanitation management organisation.

It also provided a free medical screening at the church premises for the community members where they checked Hepatitis B, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, and Body Mass Index checks as well as general check-up.

Apostle Dr Aaron Ami-Narh, Head Pastor of the Church said the exercise would help deepen the relationship of the mission with the community.

He advised members of the church to keep their environment clean, especially when there is a cholera outbreak.

He also urged them to cultivate the right eating habit in order to stay healthy.

Nana Yaw Opoku Danso, Assemblyman for the area commended the leadership of the Church for the exercise and asked other religious organisations to emulate the gesture.
