45 year-old farmer remanded for defilement

The Nsawam Circuit Court presided over by Mr Kwame Amoako on Thursday remanded Roland Anne, a 45 year-old- farmer of Amanfro near Nsawm to reappear on October 22 for defiling a three-year-old girl

Prosecuting Chief Police Inspector Alex Cosmos told the court that on the October 3 the accused sent the little girl’s mother on an errand and defiled the daughter.

Chief Inspector Cosmos said on October 5 the victim started bleeding and narrated her ordeal to the mother on her returning but the accused took the victim to a nearby clinic where he was arrested by the police.

The same court granted Patrick Kofi, a 38-year-old ex-convict, bail for stealing three sheep and a goat belonging to Mr Emmanual Kuwornu the farm manager of Guest Farm Gifsons.
