Ghanaians cautioned against stigmatising addicts

The Metropolitan Arch Bishop of Accra, Most Reverend Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle, has expressed worry about stigmatisation of Alcohol and drug addicts.

He said addicts like any individual are endowed with potentials, but through such acts, have been robbed of their capabilities and dignity.

Inaugurating the House of Saint Francis Alcohol Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre at Ashiaman near Accra, Most Reverend Palmer Buckle asked Ghanaians to deprive themselves of their comfort zone and identify with people who find themselves in such situations.
