President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, arrived yesterday at the Kotoka International Airport after attending the 69th United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA, and the African Global Business Forum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Chief of Staff, Prosper Bani and some government officials met them on arrival. Also at the airport were National Democratic Congress (NDC) sympathizers who carried placards some of which read, “The cedi is rising thank you Mr. President” and “The people of La welcome you Mr. President.”
In a brief statement at the airport, President Mahama said his trips to the United States and Dubai were very successful and assured that Ghana would rip many good things from them.
