Salvation Army Youth donate to orphans

The youth of Salvation Army Church at Beposo in the Sekyere Central District of the Ashanti Region has presented stationery items worth Ghc450 to selected orphans at Beposo.

All the 46 beneficiaries had 10 exercise books each.

Speaking at a short ceremony during the donation, Mr. Kofi Oti, Youth Organiser of the church, said the donations were to support the pupils’ education.

Mr. Joseph Yaw Owusu, who deputized for the district director of education, thanked the group for the assistance. He appealed to other organisations and individuals to emulate the donors.

On behalf of her colleagues, Faustina Amponsah, a pupil at Beposo Moslem Mission Junior High School, thanked the Salvation Army Youth for their kind gesture and appealed to others to come to their aid.
