Adu Asare threatens to sue IMANI Boss

The Coordinator for the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) Kojo Adu Asare has threatened to sue IMANI Boss Franklin Cudjoe, over allegations of financial malfeasance.

Franklin Cudjoe is reported to have stated that revelations from the commission probing Ghana’s participation at the World Cup, seem to suggest that “it was a contest of brigands, thieves and highway robbers” among members in charge of Ghana’s World Cup preparations.

Speaking to Starr News, the former Adentan MP, stated that he is seeking legal advice and would take an action soon.

“I am seeking legal advice from my lawyers and that one, trust me, it would be as soon as possible” Mr. Adu Asare popularly known as the swagger MP said.

He added “I have had to allow a lot of things to just go but if Franklin has waded in, then I know the issue has assumed a different dimension.”

Mr. Adu Asare has also slammed some media houses he says are abusing the proceedings of the World Cup Commission.

According to him, some media houses are misusing proceedings of the commission to tarnish the reputation of witnesses.

He has however urged the Justice Dzamefe led Commission to sit up and stop the practice, or their hard work would go unnoticed.

“If they want to be seen as having done a good work, then they should make sure that they don’t allow radio stations to use proceedings of their work for all manner of dirty politics.”
