MOFA receives more donations for Farmer’s Day

The National Investment Bank and Intercom Programming Manufacturing Company (IPMC) have presented a cheque for GH¢20,000.00 to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to support the National Farmers Day celebration slated for the 30th of December this year.

Receiving the cheque, the Minister of Food and Agriculture, Fiifi Kwetey, lauded the Institutions for their kind gesture and called on other institutions to emulate them.

The CEO of IMPC, Amar Deep Hari, said Agriculture is an important sector of the economy.

There is therefore the need to support farmers to increase their yield.

The Deputy Head of Corporate Affairs of the National Investment Bank, Mary Owusu Brefo, said the Bank does this annually to motivate farmers for their immense support to the country.
