Virginia, Saturday September 13 — The United States branch of Friends of Nana Akufo Addo (FONAA-USA) will be formally inaugurated at Woodbridge, Virginia, USA on Saturday September 13, 2014. The hub of the inauguration is to raise funds and strategize to elect visionary Nana Akufo-Addo the NPP flag bearer as well as the President of Ghana to deliver fellow suffering Ghanaians from the social, economic and political hardships unleashed on us by the incompetent Mahama NDC government.
The Theme for the occasion is, “Elect Nana Akufo-Addo To Restore Economic Discipline and Social Development in Ghana.” The keynote speaker is the presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo. Special guest speakers to grace the event are Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah, Hon. Ursula Owusu, MP Ablekuma West, Hon. Freda Prempeh, MP Tano North, Hon. Adwoa Safo MP for Dome Kwabenya, Mr Gabby Otchere, an attorney at law, and Director of Danquah Institute, NPP Northern Regional Chairman, Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu, and NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman Mr. Benard Antwi-Boasiako.
Ghana today is at a crossroad riddled with pervasive corruption, nepotism, economic mismanagement, huge deficit and debt, growing unemployment, unbridled taxation and collapsed energy, education and health services under the corrupt and incompetent Mahama NDC’s leadership. Agonized Ghanaians are gripped with anguish and fear of a bleak future under the NDC and the NPP is the last hope for deliverance. The majority poor Ghanaians beckon us to duty and are demanding a determined, courageous and visionary leader to take bold decisions and programs to deliver Ghanaians from hardships. Nana Akufo Addo offers us that qualitative leadership with his impeccable statesmanship and penchant for unity, peace, rule of law, justice and the creation of opportunities and prosperity for all Ghanaians. Nana’s landslide victory in the recent super delegates’ elections is a clear manifestation of NPP and grassroots’ unequivocal support and confidence in him as the transformational leader Ghanaians need today to restore the social, economic and political dignities of the Ghanaian poor. Nana Akufo-Addo has unequivocally stated that his goal is, not to loot the national coffers, but to provide transformational leadership and help build a prosperous Ghanaian society, which creates opportunities for all its citizens. The NPP led by Nana “Abotrewura” Akufo-Addo will rebuild Ghana by implementing visionary programs to emancipate Ghanaians from social, political and economic hardships that the corrupt, clueless and incompetent NDC has bedeviled Ghana with.
