Osei-Ameyaw withdraws from NPP race; backs Akufo-Addo

Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman Constituency Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, who was among the five flagbearer aspirants that qualified for the October 18 conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has announced his withdrawal from the race.

He said he is throwing his weight behind Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who won the August 31 Special Electoral College overwhelmingly by 80.81 per cent.
