Police arrest Bastiat Society MD for fraud

The police has arrested Dr. Tweneboah Senzu, Managing Director of Bastiat Society Ghana, on bench warrant for fraud at Takoradi, a police source said on Monday.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Takoradi the source said Dr. Senzu is alleged to have defrauded Mr. Seth Ohene, Manager of Janeseth Agro Chemicals of 22,516 Ghana cedis in a cocoa fertilizer deal in 2012.

It said the case was taken to court in July 2013 but the suspect failed to appear and a bench was issued for his arrest in February.
