NPP Kandahar Group in Accra to protect Afoko, Agyapong

The Kandahar Boys, a youth group believed to the military youth wing of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region, has waded into the internal bickering in the party by issuing a stern warning to certain leading NPP figures.

According to Organizer of the Tamale based group, Badawi Abdallah, they have found the need to move to the Capital city to protect the Leader and National Chairman, Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong, the Chief Scribe.

Speaking to NEAT 100.9 FM in an exclusive interview, the Kandahar Boys Organizer cited the attack at the party’s National Headquarters and the loose talk by some leading members of the party as the main reasons for their trip to Accra.

“…people like our (Northern) Regional Chairman must be warned. We will not sit idle for them to continue insulting everyone. He cannot continue talking by-heart and if he does not stop we will have serious problems with him.”

“…he is one person who has insulted everyone including President Kufuor, but we will not sit down anymore,” Badawi Abdallah said.
