At Kokomlemle in Accra, the Presbyterian Church Singing Band has celebrated its second anniversary with a thanksgiving service. The theme for the celebration was God’s Spirit and the World. The Guest Preacher, Rev. Antwi-Boasiako, expressed concern about the high level of moral decadence in the country and called for an end to it. He said it is sad that Christians, who should set examples for others to follow, engage in all kinds of vices such as smuggling and adultery. Rev. Antwi-Boasiako advised the youth to desist from drugs and premarital sex, because these can ruin their lives. He asked Ghanaians to eschew petty jealousies and back-bitting and come together to develop the country. Rev. Antwi-Boasiako urged the singing band to come out with songs that can influence the people to change their bad habits. An appeal for funds in aid of musical instruments yielded more than two point three million cedis.
