No more mass gatherings in Ghana due to Ebola

Minister of Health Dr Kwaku Agyemang-Mensah has appealed to public institutions to minimise mass gathering in order to ensure that the deadly Ebola virus does not have a debilitating effect in case of an outbreak.

Dr Agyemang-Mensah assured that government has put in place ample preventive measures to make all stakeholders ready in case of an outbreak of the disease in Ghana.

The Minister of Health made these known on Monday, July 31 while addressing journalists on measures taken so far by the country to contain an outbreak of the disease, which has so far killed over 600 patients in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
