‘There is no family land in Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area’

Nana Mbeah, Mponoahene of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, has slaughtered a cow to seal the customary rites that there is no family land at Akyem Abuakwa.

He emphasised that no family own a land at Akyem Abuakwa and that all the lands belong to Okyeman Stool Lands.

Nana Mbeah called on every family on the Akyem Abuakwa stool lands to take the opportunity of the three months moratorium given by the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council to regularise their land documents at Ofori Panin Fie at Kyebi or through the Mponoahene.

The Mponoahene said the customary rites performed were meant to stop land guard activities on Akyem Abuakwa Stool Lands.

The rites were performed at the weekend by Nana Appiah II, Kyebi Apapam Gyaasehene and were witnessed by Okyeme Brako, Okyeme Fifi, Nana Mbeah and the Asafo Company.
