Alan Kyerematen mourns Gladys Asmah

I received with so much grief, the sudden demise of Mrs. Gladys Asmah which occurred this morning at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital where she was on admission.

The people of Ghana and indeed, the entire membership of the NPP are indebted to her for her invaluable contribution and dedication for both country and party (NPP).

I had the privilege of working with her as a colleague Minister under the Kufuor administration and also as foundation members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In addition, Mrs. Asmah was one of the patrons of the Empretec programme which I initiated in the Western Region. She was hardworking and committed to achieving excellence in all her undertakings. Her life was an inspiration to all, especially women and children.

My heartfelt condolence and sympathies go to her immediate family, constituents, NPP party faithful’s and the Ghanaian people whom she diligently served.

May she find peace in the bosom of our Lord.

….Signed….

Alan Kyerematen
