The South Ghana Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church on Saturday launched a five-year Strategic Plan for the advancement of the Conference.
Pastor Dr. Chris Annan-Nunoo, President of the Conference, who launched the plan said it was aimed at growing and developing the welfare of members of the church.
He said the plan entails in detail the creation of jobs for members and would also see the renovation of the SDA schools infrastructure.
Pastor Annan-Nunoo said skills training for professionals and members of the church is one of the major issues captured in the plan which would show the road map for the direction of the conference success.
He said member churches of the South Conference must be committed to supporting the advancement of the communities their churches are located in.
Pastor Dr. Paul Adu Sampah, Director of the South Ghana Conference Strategic Management Union said the achievement of the plan would be based on the commitment of members of the church.
He said there is a lot for the conference to do in the areas of education, health and the provision of some basic amenities in some districts of the church and appealed to members to be dedicated.
Pastor Sampah also appealed to members to be united, committed and show appreciation to each other as they live and believe in one God.
