Members of parliament (MPs) are expected to reconvene on Tuesday, 10th June 2014 for the second sectional meeting, the Public Affairs Directorate of Parliament has announced.

An earlier communication said Parliament, which rose on March 28, 2014, was expected to reconvene on Tuesday, 3rd June, 2014.

Minority Leader in parliament, Osei-Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, disclosed on Citi FM that the business in the House was expected to suffer setbacks due to financial constraints.

He also stated that the postponement would affect the effective scrutiny of documents and agreements laid before the House.
