We the Leadership of Young Democrats in the Sissala East District of the Upper West Region wish to express our profound appreciation to HE John Dramani Mahama for nominating Mr. Johnson Saborh as DCE for us, said the Director of Communications of the group.
According to t Mr. Justice Ali the Communications Director of the group, the President responded timely and appropriately to their call. We hope and wish that the nominee, a former headmaster of Kanton Senior High School, if confirmed will bring on board his vast experience to develop to the district, he said.
The Director of Communications also appeals to all the honourable assembly members in the district to as matter of urgency confirm the President’s nominee as the DCE. He explained that the district is lagging far behind in terms of development; hence the need for all stakeholders to add their voice to make sure that the nominee is confirmed and fully supported to transform the district. Two weeks ago, Young Democrats in the Sissala East District embarked on a peaceful demonstration expressing their total disappointment at not having a DCE since President John Mahama was sworn in January 2013.
