Otumfuo leaves for South Africa

His Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu II will be going to South Africa at the invitation of President Jacob Zumah to attend the official inauguration after he (Zumah) was re-elected as President of South Africa.

His Majesty will join other world leaders at the swearing-in of President Zumah for his second term in Pretoria at the weekend.

Otumfuor is expected to be away for a week.

Meanwhile, Manhyia Palace has announced that the ban on funerals imposed during the celebration of Akwesidae Kese is lifted with effect from Thursday May 22nd.
