Have-Domefe Launches 10-Year Development Plan

Accra, (Greater Accra) 22 Sept.,

The first phase of a ten-year development plan for Have-Domefe in the Hohoe district was launched in Accra on Sunday with a call on citizens of the town to contribute towards its implementation. Togbe Krokani Apawu XI, chief of Have-Domefe who launched the plan, said under the first phase the people will undertake an electrification project and build two KVIP’s estimated at 40 million cedis. The three-kilometre road from the town to the main Have-Kpando trunk road will be improved. Togbe Apawu XI told Have-Domefe citizens in Accra/Tema metropolitan area that within the next ten years, most basic amenities would be provided in the town. He appealed to them to pay the special monthly levy of 1,000 cedis per citizen to enable the projects to take off. Prince Kwame Kludjeson, national president of the association, in a welcoming address, called on the citizens to honour their obligations for the development plans to be executed.
