Don’t be cynical at all times – Mahama

President John Mahama has said that Ghanaians ought to stop being cynical at all times and get involved in finding practical solutions to the country’s developmental needs.

According to him, it doesn’t help sitting on the fence when it comes to building the country and encouraged all citizens to make their voices heard when it comes to national issues.

The president who was addressing the opening of a four-day national economic forum at Akosombo justified the significance of the forum, saying similar events have taken place in previous regimes.

He charged the participants to deliberate dispassionately on pending economic challenges and reach a consensus on the appropriate solutions.

The opening session of the forum was graced by the vice president, Kwesi Amissah Arthur, former president John Rawlings, the chief justice, Theodora Georgina Wood and other high profile personalities.
