Mahama prioritising the demands of Ghanaians – Allotey Jacobs

Central Regional Communications Director of the governing NDC, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has called on the entire nation to cooperate with the current administration as the Mahama government works around the clock to remedy the economic hardships confronting Ghanaians.

Speaking on UTV’s morning show Adekye Nsroma, Allotey Jacobs opined that President John Dramani Mahama has not neglected his responsibilities but rather is prioritizing the numerous demands on his government.

According to him, he (President John Mahama) is still on the right track, ensuring that he completes the projects that the government has begun in order to salvage the economy.

He further cited certain projects at Mampong in the Ashanti Region and other water projects as some initiatives by the Mahama government to end the plight of Ghanaians.

However, to him, the government cannot attend to the needs of all Ghanaians simultaneously because “demand on government is so much.”

So, President John Mahama needs to “prioritize your project in order to complete some of them…Government is not an enterprise that makes profit or loss, but government is always under global access and liability. And you look at them and you prioritize.”

“He’s always as simple as you see him. He’s always as simple you know (President) Mahama. He will speak his mind. There’s nothing new in President Mahama to say that his demeanor is inappropriate. Both the NDC and the NPP, they love President Mahama,” he added.
