Accra, (Greater Accra) 22 Sept., The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and the Copyright Protection Committee have come together to constitute a preparatory committee to organise the next MUSIGA Congress on October 15 in Kumasi. A statement issued in Accra today, said a meeting held at the Castle on Wednesday, September 17, brought the two factions together to foster unity and togetherness in the interest of Ghanaian musicians, the music industry and the nation as a whole. The two groups have been fighting over the leadership of musicians in the country and to demonstrate their new found unity, a joint press conference has been scheduled for Thursday in Accra.
