Victor Owusu had no valid will

The Chronicle has got clues as to why the family of the late Victor Owusu are seemingly having problems with the administration of his property leading to a huge indebtedness.

Indications are that Victor Owusu, the most celebrated lawyer Ashanti ever produced, had no valid will. Family convenor, Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby confirmed in a correspondence that there was no valid will for his Uncle.

According to him, “there does not appear to be recent or valid will for the late Victor Owusu” as the deceased lawyer’s will dates back to 1964. “The last written will dates back to 1964-which cannot even be found by his lawyer” he said.
