The death is reported of David T. Ackah, the first Managing Director of the Diamond Marketing Corporation, now Precious Minerals Marketing Company.
He was 92. A family spokesperson told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that Ackah, who was the first National Chairman of the Methodist Men’s Fellowship, died on November 11. He had eight children.
Ackah would be buried at the Osu Cemetery on Friday, 20 December after a burial service at the Calvary Methodist Church. He was an active member of Gideons International, which distributes Bibles to hospitals, hotels, schools and other organisations.
