Aflao Traditional Council wants Dumor buried in Aflao

The Aflao Traditional council wants Komla Dumor’s remains brought to Aflao for burial.

The council is basing its demand on the fact that the late BBC presenter was a youth chief in the area.

The family has set Friday, February 21 to Sunday the 23rd for the final funeral services for Komla Dumor.

The family is yet to make public the burial place for the ace journalist.

But spokesperson for the Chief of Aflao, Samuel Halijago, told XYZ News that although the family has a right to decide where to bury him, it would be appropriate for his remains to be buried at Aflao.

Meanwhile, the Dumor family says it will take the concerns of the Aflao traditional council into consideration.

Patrick Hayford, spokesperson for the Dumor and Gbeho families told XYZ News that “any concerns they have we are aware of and all these have been taken into account”.
