Stanbic Bank gives to Ho cured lepers

The Credit Department of Stanbic Bank on Friday presented assorted items worth GH¢5,000.00 to cured lepers in Ho.

The items included bags of rice and maize, cooking oil, sugar, soap and clothes. Madam Miriam Kwofie, Head of Risk Governance of the Bank, also presented a cow to the Lepers Village on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.

She said the presentations were to demonstrate love to the less privileged.

“As God has blessed us with another year, we want to share these things and our love with you,” Madam Kwofie said.

She pledged the continuous support of President Mahama and the Stanbic Bank to the village and wished the inmates well.

Togbe Jacob Ezor, Chief of the village, expressed gratitude to President Mahama and the Stanbic Bank for the support.

He told the Ghana News Agency that such donations made them feel proud as Ghanaians.

Stanbic Bank has made similar presentations to the village in the last three years.
