Koku Anyidoho threatened to expose Mahama if… – Jumah

Hours after news broke that President Mahama has appointed Mr. Koku Anyidoho as special aide with national security; certain political watchers have voiced out their opinion stating that he does not merit the position.

One of such political pundits who share this view is Hon. Maxwell Kofi Jumah. The former Member of Parliament for Asokwa constituency stated on OKAY FM that President Mahama is insecure and fears the former right-hand-man of the late President Mills will roll out damaging secrets about him if he is not made relevant in his administration.

According to him, Mr. Anyidoho once threatened to expose President Mahama if he continues treating him like a no one in the party.

“I know Koku travelled to Dubai and threatened to expose the president. But no one knows why he said that and I am sure that fuelled his appointment”, Mr. Jumah alleged.

During the epoch of the late former President Mills, Mr. Koku Anyidoho was reported to be one of the most powerful figures in government and was considered heir to Mills’ throne. But immediately the former president passed on, Mr. Anyidoho’s presence in government faded out and he was forced into political hibernation.
