The Progressive People’s Party has learnt with grief and disbelief the sudden death of the renowned international broadcaster Komla Dumor. Komla Dumor was an excellent broadcaster, who served his country and later the world with dedication and professionalism.
The PPP wishes to convey its deepest condolences to his wife, family, JoyFM and the BBC.
While we mourn, we should remember that Komla Dumor was another example of Ghanaian excellence abroad, an achievement that should encourage us all to recognize, celebrate and promote our own best citizens.
Komla’s death shows that we must all work with a sense of urgency to let our light shine – Komla did just that and we recognize him for being one of the best in his profession on the global stage.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
