Sammi ‘B’ Foundation donates to Orphanage International

The Sammi ‘B’ Foundation, in collaboration with Jon Williams Consult and Ms Stephanie Walkins-Fia, Miss Universe 2002, has donated items to Orphanage International at Frafraha, in the Greater Accra Region.

The items included food stuffs, drinks, clothing, shoes, toiletries, exercise books and boxes of indomie.

Mr William Bedzrah, Corporate Business Director for Jon William Consult, said the aim was to show love, care and also interact with the orphans during the Christmas season.

“We have to learn to be philanthropic in our society so we should not be weary of being supportive to others,” he added.

He said Miss Universe 2002 had sponsored the distribution of school bags to pupils

Sammi ‘B’, the founder of Sammi ‘B’ Foundation, said, he chose to celebrate his birthday with the orphans because he wanted to show love to them and to express his gratitude to God.

Pastor Samuel Afari, President of the Orphanage, expressed gratitude towards the efforts of the organisations.

He thanked other individuals for supporting some of the orphans to further their education in the universities.

Other Institutions at the event were the Evangelical Presbyterian Church South La, Frafraha Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Osu Children’s home.

They organised a party for the children as part of the 24th anniversary celebrations of the home.
