No accidents and crimes recorded at three police stations

This year’s Christmas has been characterized with joy as crimes and accidents have not been recorded at most of the accident and crime prone areas.

A visit by the Ghana News Agency to Tesano, Kotobabi and Nima Police Stations indicate the record of low accidents.

Chief Inspector Augustine Mensah, station officer at the Tesano Police Station, said for the past two week, no serious crime was recorded at the station, adding that only assault cases are being recorded over the past two weeks.

He noted that police visibility on the roads is one of the factors that created awareness and prevented crime and accidents.

At the Kotobabi and Nima police stations, the story was not different as no crime and accidents were recorded.

Mr Yaw Asamoah, a resident around the Nima police station, noted that the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) has done much education and publicity about accidents, adding that commercial drivers had especially adhered to the public education by the NRSC.
