Dr. Mahama call on Ghanaian doctors abroad to remember home

Chief Executive Officer of Superial Medical Center ,Dr. Edward Mahama has questioned Ghanaian Doctor Abroad to invest and contribute their quota to the development of these nation through their knowledge acquired.

He said there is the need for Ghanaian medical professionals abroad to consider the sacrifices the nation made in training them and come back home to render their due to their countrymen.

He made the disclosure in an interview expressing his vision which has come to stay in establish a hospital during his return from abroad.He said the Ghanaian must achieve from what the nation invest on him and therefore wish his colleague doctor to take a second look to their country.

Dr. Mahama said, Superial Medical center was establish with a goal of kicking the brain drain in gaining the brain drain as a inasmuch as nation can benefit . He mention that Government infrastructure,medical equipment that are not made available for operation leading to loss of patience live are some challenges doctors faces ,which leaves some doctors uncomfortable leaving hear in Ghana. He noted that some mentality of Ghanaians in establishing a hospital is a business to gain profit meanwhile the aim of superficial is to cut the edge of Ghanaians mentality and work efficient to produce good result in terms of patient and friendly delivery.

Dr. Mahama said the concept come 2014 is to expand the hospital to a teaching hospital whereby education will be given to patience in professional areas. He therefore recommended Natioanal Health Insurance Authority and the National Identity Program which serve as relevant and important with the aim of providing good quality of service to all mostly the valunable.

He extended the nation’s appreciation to those serving at home and urge other to come and invest to the nation since their Government is signing with the hospital private partnership program and promise to effectively discharge their duties, adding that qualitative medical care was one of the priorities .
