Kumawuman Rural Bank Donates to St. Louis SHS and Other School

The management of Kumawuman Rural Bank Bomso branch a suburb of Kumasi has donated Poly-Tank worth GHC 2,000.00 to St. Louis Senior High School at Oduom near Kumasi.
The Poly-Tank could contain 750 gallons of water.
Presenting the tank to the school on Wednesday at the school premises, Mr. C.K Ablerdu, General Manager of Kumawuman Rural Bank, explained that the donation was part of their social responsibilities to the society and to the general public.
He said that the bank was committed to help improve the standard of living of students in their catchment areas since students were seen as the future leaders of the country.
Mr. Ablerdu, reiterated that the bank would continue to support the needy institutions and individuals in their operation areas.
He disclosed that the bank had scholarship package for students whose parents were stakeholders of the bank and entreated parents to purchase shares of the bank to enable their wards to benefit from the scheme.
Mrs. Theresah Addae, Headmistress of St. Louis Senior High, commended the bank for the donation and explained that the donation had come at the right time the school was facing water problems.
She hoped that the donation would help to reduce the challenges students had to go through before getting water in the sense that they could then preserve water.
She appealed to the bank to help them complete ironing shed they were putting up for the students.
Similar donation was given to KNUST SHS also at Oduom.
The short ceremony was witness by some staffs of the two schools and Mr. Doku-Kwarteng Bomso Branch Manager of the bank.
