Judgment Debt Commission summons Chris Kpodo, VRA

The Judgment Debt Commission has officially summoned former Ambassador Chris Kpodo, Seth Mensah Dumoga Esq. and the Volta River Authority to appear before it.

They are expected to appear before the Commission, set up by the president to inquire into judgment debts payments and other related matters on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.

According to the Commission, they are at liberty to appear with their lawyers.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Commission, George William Dove, also called on all members of the public who wish to testify or volunteer information to report at the Commission’s office to give their statements.

The Commission is also investigating how an amount of 24 million dollars accrued from the sale of the drillship belonging to the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation to pay judgment debt owed Societe Generale, was disbursed.
