Chief appeals for calm in Adienbra

Baffour Kwadwo Abbam Odikro of Adiembra Number 2 near Adeiso in the Upper West Akyem District, has appealed to chiefs of Asamankese and Akyem Abuakwa to take steps to resolve the chieftaincy dispute at Adiembra.

He said the problem has brought about factions and heightened tensions among the people.

Baffour Abban, who made the appeal in an interaction with journalists, at Adeiso Adiembra said the chieftaincy dispute nearly cost him his life when a mob attacked him in his palace and shot him on the chest and stomach and had to be rush to Asamankese Hospital for treatment.

He called on Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin and Osabarima Kwaku Amoah, Chief of Asamankese to intervene to solve the stalemate.
