Assembly member donates books to school

Mr Kwame Mensah Baah, the Assembly Member for the Residential Electoral Area at Akim Oda, has donated 72 copies of computer books to the Akim Oda Ridge Experimental School.

The books worth about GHC2, 520 were donated to the school during the celebration of its home-coming ceremony.

Mr. Baah said he donated the books to encourage and promote the study of Information, Technology and Communication (ICT) in the school.

Mr. Baah appealed to indigenes resident outside to come home and assist in the development of the Akim Kotoku Traditional Area and pledged that he would make a similar donation to one private school in the electoral area next month.

Mrs Philomena Ndeds, headmistress of the school, received the books and thanked Mr. Baah.
