Asiedu Nketia lectures NDC women

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia on Thursday lectured a group of women in the party in Kumasi about politics.

The NDC’s Chief Scribe educated 40 TEIN women organizers of the NDC, who were selected from all 10 regions of the country, on the ruling party’s social democratic ideology.

Mr. Nketia, popularly called ‘General Mosquito,’ took the NDC women through the various political ideologies including capitalism, socialism, liberal democracy and social democracy.

After thoroughly explaining the various ideologies, the NDC stalwart told the audience that social democracy was the best due to its human-centeredness.

He addressed them at Sallisburg Hotel, near Atonsu in Kumasi in a closed-door meeting.

A source told DAILY GUIDE that four female students were also selected from the 10 regions for the important meeting aimed at empowering the party’s members.

According to the source, the meeting was to help the TEIN members to understand the NDC’s ideology and put them in a better position to woo many ladies on the various campuses to join the NDC.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia, who was the main speaker at the function, reportedly exhibited excellent teaching skills during the lecture.

The NDC’s general secretary, who touched on various issues affecting the party, also charged the young women to propagate the good work of the NDC government in order to make it attractive to other people.

NDC gurus such as National Youth Organizer, Ludwig Hlodze, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources were among some dignitaries at the event.

Others were Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Samuel Yaw Adusei and Kwaku Boahen, the Ashanti Regional NDC Youth Organizer.
