THE YOUNG SOCIAL DEMOCRATS (TYDE) Congratulates Honourable Thomas Nyarko Ampem ON HIS ELECTION AS DCE OF ASUOGYAMAN
The Young Social Democrats, Ghana (TYDE) wishes to express its profound appreciation to the chiefs and people of Asuogyaman district and President Mahama for the massive endorsement of their member Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko as the new DCE for the area.
This resounding confirmation goes to affirm the wisdom in President Mahama’s decision to bring sustainable development to the people of Asuogyaman. According to the assemblymen and women, this is the first time an overwhelming support has culminated in the election of a DCE in their locality. They remarked that Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem is the change the Asuogyaman area had been seeking all this while. Ordinary citizens of the locality are also overwhelmed by his sense of humility, fellow-feeling, dedication to the communities and the extraordinary gravitas he attaches to the development challenge of various communities within Asuogyaman.
Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem, expressing appreciation to his people for the honour done him, called for greater collaboration and unity to advance the developmental agenda of Asuogyaman. He observed that the district’s huge tourist scenery and talents of the people are great source of comparative advantage in promoting development of the district. He pledged to tackle the challenges of healthcare, education, youth enterprises development, increased in revenue mobilization, and judicious utilization of the district assembly’s common fund by tapping into his resourceful network, particularly social development experts.
TYDE has absolute confidence that Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem will live above reproach and provide his people with servant leadership – seeking to serve, rather than being served. His perspectives on the development challenges of Asuogyaman make him the right person at this moment in the Asuogyaman’s history and hopefully, he will deliver on the Better Ghana Agenda.
TYDE further seizes this opportunity to ask for God’s guidance and wisdom for Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem so that he can lead with wisdom in meeting the development goals of his new office.
