Disabled association purchase bus

The Ghana Federation of Disabled, in collaboration with Agona East Assembly, has acquired a bus valued at 172,000.00 Ghana cedis for People Living with Disability (PLWD) in the Agona East District.

Addressing a ceremony to inaugurate the bus at Nsaba, capital of Agona East, Mr. Martin Luther, the District Chief Executive, said the assembly and the federation agreed to use PLWD’s share of the Fund to buy the bus.

He appealed to members of the association to use monies generated from the services of the bus to enter into other gainful activities.

The chairman of the branch Association, Mr Ato Hayford, thanked the government and the Assembly, adding that they appreciated all efforts being made by the government to make life comfortable for them.
