Ghana Day Celebration in Vancouver on August 31

GCABC is hosting the first Ghana Day Celebration on August 31, 2013 at the Bear Creek Park,13750 – 88 Avenue

in Surrey (King George Highway and 88 Avenue) from 1pm to 11pm. The event will kick off with our usual Annual Family Picnic and BBQ from 1pm till 5pm and continue with a night of music, cultural performances and a dance from 6pm. Entrance fee for the dance is $15.

Invitation is extended to individuals to perform cultural dances, sing, recite poetry, tell Ananse stories, etc. Our youth are especially encouraged to come forward to participate. The picnic is potluck and so please bring extra food and drinks to share.
