NDC showers praises on NPP

Lawyer Victor Kojogah Adawudu, a member of the legal team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has congratulated leaders of the opposition New Patriotic Party for accepting the Supreme Court verdict.

He commended the petitioners for allowing justice to take its course and ensuring that the peace of the nation is enhanced.

According to him, the first petitioner, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who conceded defeat on Thursday after the court ruling, has shown boldness and by his action, he (Lawyer Kojogah Adawudu) believes Ghanaians will be more united to uphold the integrity of the country.

Speaking on Radio Gold’s newspaper review, he hailed Nana Addo and the opposition party members, saying “the first petitioner made a bold statement just after the election (verdict)…I think we need to congratulate him and let’s jubilate in moderation. Also, this is the only nation we have…elections will come every four years and as they have said that they are going to reorganize…we would also have to work hard and the nation, for me, will be more united than we went into the elections and the petition.”
