Ghanaian On Emmy Panel

Mr. Kofi Sarpong, a Media Executive and Managing Director of Akroma Productions Limited, a local adverting agency, has been selected as a juror for the 30th International Emmy Awards.

This is the first time in the history of the awards that an international panel of judges, television professionals from all regions of the world, has been selected. And the first time a Ghanaian has been selected.

The nominations, which will be announced on October 7, 2002, are in six categories: Drama Series, Television, Movie/Mini-series, Documentary, Arts Programming, Popular Arts, Children and Young People.

The 30th International Emmy Awards will be announced at a black-tie gala event on November 25, 2002.
