John Mahama fan club eulogizes late president

The Brong-Ahafo Regional Secretariat of John Mahama Fan Club at the weekend eulogized the late President John Evans Atta Mills for his immense contribution towards national peace.

“The executives and the entire membership of John Mahama Fan Club in the Brong Ahafo Region humbly wish to say that indeed our country has lost a great man and an inspirational leader,” a statement signed by Mr Atta Kofi, Regional Chairman, copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani said.

The John Mahama Fan Club is a wing within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which aims at bringing party faithful at all levels together for the purpose of unity in advancing the NDC Better Ghana Agenda.

“Let this one year anniversary not just see us enjoying just the celebration, but we must find time to reflect on the way forward as we strive to build a Better Ghana. We must reflect on the legacies that our late professor bequeathed us, consider what we have added to that legacy, and commit ourselves to leaving a solid legacy for the generations after us,” the statement said.

It commended President John Dramani Mahama for his exemplary leadership and entreated Ghanaians, irrespective of their political inclination, to support the course of the Better Ghana Agenda.

The statement appealed to supporters of the NDC to desist from acts of violence and support President Mahama in the appointment of metropolitan, municipal and district executives.
