Another armed robbery suspect has been shot and killed by Police in the Ashanti Region, according to reports.
The young male robber was killed today in a shootout between his gang of three and Officers at Adankwame near the regional capital Kumasi.
Two other suspected are on the run. The incident took place at Friday dawn.
XYZ News’ Ashanti regional Correspondent, Isaac Bediako Justice reports that the robbers mounted a blockade to sequester their operations form the eyes of the Police.
The Ashanti regional Police command will be addressing the press later today over the matter.
