Ellembelle to benefit from age village project

Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, says feasibility studies are underway to make the Age Village Project a reality in the constituency.

The said project, which formed part of his campaign promise in 2012, will cater for the needs of the aged and vulnerable in the area.

Mr Buah, who doubles as the Minister of Energy and Petroleum Resources, was speaking during a meeting with National Democratic Congress zonal executives in the Asasetre and Nkroful zones at Nkroful in the Western Region.

The meeting, which was attended by about 400 executives, afforded him the opportunity to thank them for their sense of dedication and commitment during the 2012 general elections and how to chart a common path for the party.

As part of the Village Age Project, Mr Buah explained that the centres would feed the beneficiaries and provide them with medication, exercise regimes and entertainment.

The project will be one of the major projects the MP will execute after the GH¢ 100,000 mobile clinic project launched in 2009.
