A delegation from Osu Alata in the Korle Clottey Constituency on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Nii Armah Ashitey, Minister for Employment and a Member of Parliament for the constituency.
Nii Kwabena Bonne V, Osu Alata Mantse and the delegation formally congratulated the Minister on his appointment as the Minister for Employment.
Nii Bonne V, appealed to Nii Armah Ashitey to help create job opportunities for the youth in the area and also assist in resolving disputes in Osu, as well as supporting the celebration of the Homowo festival.
Nii Armah Ashitey thanked the chief and his delegation for their continuous support for him and pledged government’s support for the Constituency.
The Minister urged them to unite and advised the traditional rulers to work as one, especially during the Homowo festivities, noting that, petty squabbles and misunderstandings does not promote development and urged the chief to ensure peace in the constituency.
The Minister said health, education, sanitation, and job creation are the areas that needs attention and promised to assist to develop the area..
