Woyome appalled by conduct of judgement debt Sole Commission

Businessman Alfred Woyome has accused the Sole Commission investigating the inordinate payment of judgement debt of embarking on an agenda setting to discredit him before the general public.

Mr. Woyome is currently in court over the payment of an amount of 51 million Ghana cedis as judgement debt for no work done.

But the Sole Commission, tasked with the responsibility to investigate all judgement debt case, has also begun its own investigations into the matter.

Early this week, officials of Consar and Waterville, two companies also connected to Woyome scandal denied dealing with Alfred Woyome.

A Counsel of the Sole Commissioner, Mr Dometi Kofi Sorkpor, is reported to have made that information public, an action Woyome is not happy about.

In a release, Mr. Woyome said Sorpkor’s suggestion that he [Woyome] represented himself as an official of Waterville is completely false.

Reginald Seth Dogbey who is Spokesperson for Alfred Woyome later told Joy News that Alfred Woyome has never said anywhere that he is an official of Waterville or Michelleti or Consar.

He described as “shocking” the comments by Mr Dometi Kofi Sorkpor.

He wondered why the spokesperson had suddenly found his voice when he had been mute in all the judgement debt cases that have come before him.

Seth Dogbey explained that it was Woyome who brought all the three companies into Ghana but insisted at no point was he a representative of any of them.

He said the conduct of Mr Sopkor has been completely prejudicial to the case that is currently pending before the court.
