Nigerian Student Donate Million Cedis to Ghana Orphanage

A University of Abuja students Ibrahim Tajudeen Simidex has donated the sum of one million Cedis to the Osu Orphanage Home in Accra, Ghana.

Simidex, a Rotractor who is of the Business Administration Department of the University made the donation recently when the Rotract Club of Uni-Abuja visited Ghana.

The five-day trip was part of the club’s international service programme of promoting friendship and international understanding between the two groups.

The donation and that of assorted fruits by the Accra Rotract club of Ghana was to help the inmates of the home.

Meanwhile, a former president of the club in Abuja, Mr. Chris Ajayi has commended, Mr. Samidex for the donation.

In a letter of appreciation, he described Simidex’s gesture as a pride and an inspiration to the club”.

He stated that the gesture will definitely spore others to imbibe the spirit of giving to the helpless and less privileged.

He wished him long life and prosperity and prayed that he continues with his good deeds to the cause of humanity.
